I'm at work, so don't have access to the scans of my old photo albums, I'll see if I can dig one up. Problem was I didn't even own a decent 35mm camera at the time, just a crappy 110 instamatic, so the couple of pics I have are crappy.
In the meantime, this pic I pulled off the net is close, except it is the 2 liter model, more powerful than my 1600. They were neat little cars and were the predecessor to the 240Z.

Looks like a cool little car! Was it mated to a 4-speed manual?paul246 wrote:I'm at work, so don't have access to the scans of my old photo albums, I'll see if I can dig one up. Mine had the 4 speed manual, the Datsun pictured above had the 5 speed. The model above also had a wicked pair of Solex sidedraft carbs, it could kick serious butt. Mine was milder with a pair of Hitachi-SU sidedrafts. Even then it could stomp any TR6, Spitfire, MGB or Midget (Sprite).
