what are some really fast bikes?

i know busa's and gixxers have a reputation for being speedy, and i just read about a BMW that will do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. but what are some other really fast bikes (production or tuner). pics appreciated.

modified drag racing hayabusas are the fastest bikes i've seen.

some of them finish above 300mph in a ¼ mile run.

there was even a dyno test vid on a busa that has 700hp. :shock:

lets see, 700HP, power to weight ratio on that would be like...

and i used to think cars liek lotus, mclaren, and lamborghini were fast.

300 mph? Are you sure? In a quarter mile? I'm no expert, but I have a hard time buying that one.

that's what i saw on the AMA drag racing on speed TV.

IIRC, i think it was in the top fuel category where i saw a busa finish above 300.

Top-fuel drag cars do it all the time, probably with similar power-to-weight ratios.

maybe over 200, I find 300mph from a drag bike hard to swallow
