But still this idea would only work in one spot. It wouldn't do much to prevent someone from stealing it at your place of work, the grocery store, etc.
It needs to be something transportable, like a chain (which can be cut) or a disc lock (the motorcycle can simply be lifted then).
And I highly doubt anyone on this forum was looking to steal your idea in the first place. Just put out a caveat if you're that worried about it.
An electronic immobilizer is the only thing that will deter theives. The best way to see that is to push that it be a mandatory feature from the manufacturers.< I Fly > wrote:I really don't want to throw the idea out there for just anyone to take though.
