Does it have to be a link from a site or can I download from my own files?

You have to upload it to a website.

I don't know if by 'download your own picture' you mean trying to link from your computer but it should look like this.

and not:

You can upload pictures to sites like photobucket and the like.
Have fun on the open /¦\

There's more to this site than just the message board.

I know, I was surprised too.

I use www.tinypic.com . You have tinypic upload the image from your computer, and then use the "URL" address that tinypic provides as your link here on the forums. It even includes the "img" stuff - you just have to copy and paste the tinypic URL address.

TIP: I also list all my tinypic addresses (with a description of the image) to a word document for quick reference or access. Then it's just another copy and paste if needed in the future.

Cheers,
Loonette

Right back at 'cha (I love the Moody Blues!)

CBC Sunday Morning did a little blip about LSD - an anniversary or something. I'm glad that Timothy Leary was willing (as well as his subjects) to do some real experimentation to study the effects of the drug. In the right setting, LSD is fabulous. I haven't done it in over 10 years, but just thinking about it is almost good enough.

Cheers,
Loonette

I have had some amazing "experiences" myself.
And you are right , in the right setting it can be wonderful.
Butt in the wrong setting it can be a very disasterous 8 to 12 hours.

In fact the last time I did it my mom came down stairs to tell me that my grandfather was in the hospital and might die.

I was in a very very bad place for the next few hours until i finally told my mom i was freaking out and she gave me about three xanex. Then i went to sleep......for a long time.

Butt fortunatly my granddad is still alive!!

Have not touched it since.

Years ago Dr. Richard Cytowic, a reknowned expert on synesthesia, performed experiments with LSD to see if it would produce synesthetic responses in non-synesthetes. Surprisingly it did. So, anyone who's experimenting with LSD, let me just say, welcome to my world!

So it kinda counteracts the visuals cuased by synesthesia like a stimulant would counteract a hyperactive person?

EDIT: Oh nevermind i read your post wrong. I thought it was used as a drug FOR synesthesia.

Geez, ZooTech! That's the experience you have in your natural state?! No wonder you have no desire to do drugs!

Fireguzzi - one time a group of four of us did acid, but one of us was a first-timer. She had a very uncomfortable trip. She couldn't get over the edginess in her muscles. Anyway, Chihuly ( www.chihuly.com ) had an exhibit at the DIA (Detroit Institute of Art), so my one friend and I thought that would help calm her down, so after being awake all night, we went to the museum in the late morning. Aside of the Chihuly glass, there was also a black & white photo exhibit of people in everyday life. It included some sad aspects of life. One photo was of parents saying goodbye to their premature newborn who died in the hospital. We were all touched, but our newbie was having an overreaction at every photo. It was a bit much for her. We figured that she would never touch the stuff again - 14 years later and the rest of us no longer partake, but she still does on a regular basis - go firgure.

Sorry such a long digression folks! What was the topic? Oh yeah, Mean Streaks. I'm taking my Mean Streak out for a stroll in about two hours. See ya!

Cheers,
Loonette
