I can imagine how you must feel, that really sucks dude, hope it turns out well.

If I was a witness to someone jacking a bike I'd beat the snot out of him before I'd call the cops!

urge to kill... RISING!

I hope the PoPo catches the algae injesting illegitimate sons of female canines.

Sucks to hear it V, my sincere hope is that the thief be ground slowly to death on an extremely long lowside.

Think of it this way...you just crashed your bike and broke the farings...you have full coverage and gap insurance, so now you can go out and buy a new bike for the same price with new farings!

the guys that stole it were probably pros.

the witness said it happened in less than 20 secs.

if the police don't find it today then i hope they never find it. it'll probably be torn apart already by tomorrow.

maybe this is your chance to get that gixxer 600 you wanted, and with the price difference you could get some stuff off your "wishlist"

but still...

i hope my insurance will cover the helmet cost and gloves. well it's ok even if they don't coever the gloves i got it cheap anyway.

also, i still haven't gotten the stolen vehicle file # since the LAPD office seems to have had their comp sys crash this morning.

i wonder if the insurance will also cover the cost of the new windscreen and frame sliders.

Make sure you have your receipts for those items. If your insurance company is good they may pay for a portion of it.
