Question about the MSF

#1 Unread post by dannydrko »

I'd like to take the MSF in Virginia, preferably somewhere in southwest viginia near my school, but I'm from PA. Do I have to go back to PA to take the class to get my learners permit? Or would I be able to transfer over the course credit so to speak.
Thanks.

Dan

That's a question for your DMV. I'm pretty sure most states won't give you a M/C license unless you have a Auto license w/ that state, so you either have to get a VA Auto license or go back to PA for the Lerners permit.

I'm pretty sure the MSF credit will transfer, but once again, consult the DMV for more info!

We did the MSF course in Washington, mailed the paper work to the Department of Public safety in SD which is our home state. SD mailed back our new endorsed licenses a few days later.

I would suspect that PA is not so understanding.
