Are Sidi and Spidi the same company? I thought that maybe Spidi stopped making boots and created Sidi to do it for them or something.

Also, how's the quality of Spidi's leather jackets/suits? I notice alot of GP racers wearing 'em, thought about getting a suit of my own!

Duno that Sidi = Spidi, i think one of those two control Garene (sp?) or design for them or something.
EDIT: I'm thinking of SetUp, not Garene (sp?).

Sidi makes boots & Spidi makes suits.

A lot of GP riders wear the suits as you said so that is a pretty good indicator of their quality.

not sure on this one. I have seen a few racers in Spidi gear. Though Dianese and Alpinestars seem to be the leathers of choice for MotoGP racers

I only know of one or two racers who wear Dainese (although one of him is slightly popular :P) while I see a TON of racers in not just GP but AMA and WSBK wearing Spidi.

Of course, there's also a few racers who wear Joe Rocket, and MotoGP who I've heard have somewhat shabby quality (although I hear that JR has come a long way, and I heard MotoGP was shabby from only a few ppl).

I have a MotoGP textile/leather jacket. I don't see anything shabby about it :-)
