Go Steelers (how I bought my first piece of bike apparel).

Go Steelers. About freaking time...

I am a lifelong Steelers fan. I went to Detroit the weekend of the Superbowl and tailgated. It was a great time.

Now, the year before that, a buddy got tickets to the AFC Championship game in Pittsburgh. The one where New England kicked the Steelers' "O Ring". For that butt cold and ugly game (thank God for quality tailgating before the game that numbed the pain of watching it...), I bought an "irregular" pair of leather steel-toed boots at Gabriel's discount department store in smalltown Ohio. I wore them to the game, then returned to where I live in Florida...where they sat in a box until just recently.

Low and behold, in the light of that marvelous (well, at least sufficent) Steelers' superbowl victory, I remembered I had them, and now they are again put to use as the official inaugural motorcycle learning footwear...oh glorious steel-toed leather...

I wondered whether the first response would be Steeler fan or foe. Let's see if any Black and Gold supporters come out of the TMW woodwork...

But, I can't bag on a Bengals fan too much...you guys have helped make it real easy to clinch the division most of the last decade or so...

Glad to have a rivalry on the boards... Nice pics as well.

I enjoy the rivalry myself. I have some old roomates that are steelers fans. It's nice to be able to give a little back nowadays instead of wearing a bag on the head in shame. :D
