Horn

I am looking for a 135 dec horn that I can splice into my existing horn wiring harness. I'd like to run a switch up to the bars so I can deactivate it if necessary (such as when riding through residentials) but I think I just need more 'voice' on the freeway.

I saw some small curled ones here a while back. I just need one, anyone know a good reputable online place to buy that they can shoot me a link?

I dont want a large fancy one with a compressor, just a basic electric unit.

PS: I suppose i should have posted this in Product Reviews/Opinions...if necessary move it there please :)

i'd think any local parts house (like pep boys or auto zone) would have what you're looking for.

I'll probably actually buy that first horn. It seems the previous owner removed the horn from my bike (don't ask me why).

I put air horns on mine, but you said you don't want a compressor, so I guess you wouldn't want one like mine.

Not sure if this is what you mean (my understanding circuit has been pretty fried today) but do you mean a switch on your console to go from a softer horn to a louder one?

If not, is the option possible?

Try this one: http://forum.motorcycle-usa.com/default ... 2&m=234395

Not too hard to install, and the price was right. About $40 including shipping.

No, what I want is to keep my stock horn. I'll splice the new horn off of the wire for the old horn and put a switch on the line, so when switched off only the stock horn will fire, when switched on both horns will fire.
