Hello everyone, Im a newbie to the site, from colorado. Been out of riding for the last year since i sold an old EX500, just recently got back into it for the cost of gas and to save my truck from the wear and tear of commuting. Picked up a Suzuki GS550E (with the mini front fairing), cant find anything about it online though. I have to shop manuals but id like to know specs/any place to get parts for them, any any comment about them period.

Isn't it a GS500E, not a GS550E?

Yep it is indeed a GS550E; 4 cylinder 572CC sportbike looking machine, made from 1983-1985

Lol, then I can't help you out. But there isn't a whole lot of information on older bikes, trust me, I haven't been able to find anything about my bike (1982).

The GSResources site and forum is for 76 thru 85 GS bikes. Should find some info there.

Here's a pic of one from GSResources:

It's been a long time since I've seen one. I started riding in 84 and there were some around then.
