carb problems

I have a 2000 gsxr600 with a yoshimura slip on. The bike sputters in the low rpm range.It started after stopping for gas. I cleaned the carbs and found no trash. Would you suggest a jet kit or is there another problem? Please help.

Is there an in-line fuel filter between the tank and the carbs?
