Help! Electrical problem 1986 Yamaha FZ 600

I just got this bike and someone made a mess out of the turn signal relay assembly. The relay it's self was all mangled and cut open, so I purchased a used one from the bone yard. I have a few manuals with wireing diagrames in them but the wires all go to a box labled Turn Signal Relay and in no way shape or form show what pin on the relay to conect them to. So.... If you have a bike with relay 41R-71 or FX257N, or know how to help me please do I wanna ride.
