ok i have a suzuki gs500f its 4 months old and i sort of killed it on the week end i rode it a little to hard and now it sounds really dodo i took it to the suzuki shop and they said i would need an engine rebuild how would i go about finding out how to do this my self

dropping the motor out, tearing it down, diagnosing, replacing parts, putting it back together, putting it back in, and hope like hell it starts.

can you change your own oil/brakes/sprockets/and chain?

they said it would be 3,000 for a engine rebuild, the bike only cost 8700 so thats why i need to do it my self and its not under warrenty because its my fault its stuffed

its either i do it my self or i ride her til she dies

How the hell did you kill your bike?

Anyway, how long ago did you buy it? If it wasn't long ago, then bring it to the dealership and insist they fix it, and tell them you're not paying a dime.

What did you do to it to need an engine rebuild?

dude i took it there and its not covered by warrenty because i did it to it
i have no idea how i did it in 3 days skill i guess
its only got 10,000km on it

the question is what happened to the bike/engine?
There would be a really cool signature thingy here if I could figure out how to make one.
