Owned, or were able to use?
When I was a kid, my parents bought me quite a few junk motorcycles to play with... I would take them apart, try and get them running (sometimes succeeding), and so on... but with the exception of a Pugot moped I never rode any of them at all.
My first "real" bike (that I rode any distance on) was a '79 Yamaha XS1100.
My first "really real" bike (that I plan to ride a 100+ miles a day on) is a 2006 Kaw EX250R.

My first bike was a 1972 Yamaha RD350, I bought it at a garage sale for 250 bucks, ran it for 2 and a half hours one day and then it died, my liscence expired and I soild it for 100 bucks. That was technically my first bike. my first real rider is my 83 Seca though..heres a pic of a RD350, its a 73, and mine was arange, on one side, faded orange from being parked under a window in a garage for 20 years on the other.

My first bike was a 1978 Harley(AMF) 80cc minibike, fisrt street bike was a used 1975 Honda CB400F SuperSport I bought around 1987...I still have the street bike, it is in a sad state of affairs and in storage yet I keep it for sentiment.
