2003 V Star 650 upgrade

#1 Unread post by azdodger »

Please excuse if this is posted elsewhere, I was too blind to find it...

Looking for any info from anyone that has upgraded a Vstar using either a big air kit or a hypercharger...

Thanks.

Go here:

It's the 650 V Stars Custom, Classic & Dragstar forum. If there's a problem with the URL, just google the name. You'll find out much more from that forum than you will here.

I have installed many of both and would advise the Big Air Kit. I am not a big fan of the Hyperchargers...takes some work to get them didaled in and rid of that off idle stumble. Also riding in the rain is no fun when your Hypercharger is sucking in water! At least with the B.A.K. you have the protection of the fuel tank over the pod filters.
CHECK YOUR TIRE PRESSURE REGULARLY!!!
