Whats up guys, I'm going to begin riding soon and I figured I might as well ask in the experienced forum.
Do you guys have any tips for riding safety other than whats mentioned in a DMV manual? I'd appreciate any greatly as I want to avoid an accident as much as possible.
Third, I also recommend an MSF course and reviewing your state’s (province’s/territory’s) DMV or DOT website for licensing information, guidelines and FAQ.
Fourth, Good Luck and Have Fun! I hope you enjoy this site! Be sure to...
The enormous "Motorcycle Safety" board might have some good reading.

Spokes lifted my standard advice to all riders....never think you are in total control of the bike....
Start out right off the bat using some common sense, like...the throttle doesn't have to be cranked wide open to take off, don't drive any faster than you can see ahead. Rocks and holes play havic on a new inexperienced rider....
Ride smart, not hard...Always expect the other guy to do the wrong thing , and stay prepared to eract to it.
I can climb a mountain, but I'll trip over a mouse turd, everytime...stay alert.
