Neo/Matrix sunglasses

Anyone wear the ones that clip onto your nose rather than behind your ears?

If so do they work better with a helmet?
It's sort of uncomfortable pushing sunglass earpieces behind your ears while wearing a helmet.

Where have you found those? Can you toss up a link?

And if memory serves Neo had regular sunglasses, it was Morpheus that had the ones that just sort of rested on his nose. Maybe you could get the bridge of your nose peirced and have magnets on it. Then you just clip them on there!

If your glassea are uncomfortable under your helmet, then you have the wrong helmet, that's one of the things you should test for when you buy one. I've got a HJC CL-14 and my prescription frames fit under with no worries. If I'm in a rush and they go on "stick-eyed" then it's uncomfortable, otherwise I don't even notice they are there. You might consider looking at different makes or models.

Finally, you could always just get a tinted visor, I'm in love with mine.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I agree with Sev, just take your time putting the glasses on and you shouldnt have a problem. Also, it depends if your wearing one with thick arms as well, try for a thin wire armed glass.

I have a pair of rayban predators (circa 2000) and they fit real nice in my helmet, can't even tell they are there. The have thicker palstic arms. Some work better than others.

Sev is right . It was Morpheus with the glasses and I have been looking for a pair since the first movie came out . I do know that all the sun glasses in the Matrix movies were made by Ray Ban . I keep looking to no avail .
Kind regards, Wizzard

I think the nose piercing thing has merit....

Guys, one of my weirder hobbies is collecting old glasses ... (Yes, I'm weird  ) anyway, I had a bunch of these (REAL old ones not new ones) that I sold to a bunch of people who "Wanted to look like morpheus". All they had to do was get polycarb sunglass lenses placed into them, and good to go.

But let's be realistic - these glasses "pince-nez" are made originally as READING GLASSES. Unless you GLUE these things to your nose, they WILL NOT stay in place if you are doing any kind of activity. Especially riding a bike, or generally pretending to be some kind of Sci-Fi Superhero...
