Opinions on Yamaha FZ6

I didn't mean to insult anybody that owns the SV650 or 1000, or the V Strom, sorry if I did, but around here seems like everybody and anybody owns those bikes, they are nice, but I dislike them cause of the engine sound, they run ok, nobody seems to have trouble with them, its just that engine sound, sounds to me like piston slap, banging or loose valves, or maybe those engines sound that way cause of the 90 degree design and the way the engine is exposed outside the frame.

SVs all sound like crap IF you have the stock mufflers installed. Put a decent slip on on them and they sound downright mean, nasty little roar to them especially when they hit mid-upper rpms.

The FZ6 sounds like any other 4 cylinder sportbike, almost silent with the stock mufflers installed, but can sound real nice with a decent slip on.
