Just got back from the Dragon!

This past weekend I went to Deals Gap,NC and rode the Tail of the Dragon. There was a big Warrior gathering this week. I love the whole town atmosphere and all the bikes. The dragon was incredible to ride on but even better was all the roads around it. I have never been on so many twisties and sweepers before! My pegs, peg brackets, and my pipes are all torn up from scraping the hell out of em, but it was all worth it! Anyway, here's a couple of pics and video of myself entering into the tail of the dragon.

That video is alittle longer so I'm uploading it to Google. It takes a couple of days for google to accept it. You really can't go that fast on the Dragon on a cruiser. I did end up passing a goldwing, a sport bike, and a Harley though.

well, I ride with a sport bike gang and usually out ride most of them, but believe me, once you watch this video, you'll understand why I passed this guy on the dragon.

Sounds like the chicken strips on that sportbikers tires were probably bigger than the ones he ate for lunch LOL

Does not suprise me that the sport bikes get overtaken, they do not corner the best of all bikes, it usually is the upright acceleration that allows them to go quicker. there are a lot of cruisers and standards that corner quicker and more stable. Vector I am so glad that you had the opportunity to do something this famous and it is great to see roads like this being commercialised. It means that they will be kept in top condition and give bikers around the world something to aim to achieve. I am sure you had loads of fun.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
