Gidday from 'the land of the Long White Cloud'

Hiya!
I live in Sth Auckland New Zealand and already belong to Kiwi Biker Forum which has been a great way to meet other bikers and increase my circle of riding buddies... I have been riding for 22 yrs so I am a pretty experienced rider, love to hoon it sometimes but I'm not an idiot and if I don't know the roads I'm cautious but I ain't no nana! I started out on a Yamaha DT175 trail bike and fooled around on that for a few years before making a big leap to a HD 883 sporty. Loved that bike but needed more grunt so stepped up to a 1200. Thrashed a couple of them for quite a few years then started trusting after a Nightrain. Sadly it was out of my price range and I found myself being talked into testriding a Buell X1 Lightning... well had it for 3 days and bought it! Done 85,000kms in the last 5 yrs and love it more and more every time I ride it... which is nearly every day!
Look forward to chatting with you online and sharing stories...

Cheers Dude! Yep I am motorcycle mad ( or maybe I'm just mad?... he he he ). My mate /co-worker is also a bike nut and whenever we are quiet at work we trawl the net looking for bike sites. Thats how we found this 1!!!

HA! Struggling with my avatar at the mo! Yikes! Kiwi Biker is much easier cos you can upload images very easily... I've got lots on my mac but none on a website (cos I don't HAVE a website)...hmmmm I'll figure something out I guess.
