There was a good section about turns and turning in David Hough's "Proficient Motorcycling" book. Don't have it with me at the moment though (at work) but that is an excellent reference book for lots of stuff.

Going into a tight turn you have to think "SAFETY" there may be a giant SUV coming into the turn on the other side of the road hogging up your lane. Always go into a turn wide and come out narrow, what I mean go into the turn on the outside of the road and come out in the middle, use the full width of the road, that way you can see whats coming the other way and you have the wide part of the road to correct yourself. Think SAFETY, ride safe, its dangerous out there with runaway SUV's. One thing I love about the tight curves is if you have a SUV tailgating you,,, you can lose him around the curves cause he can't take the curves as fast as you.
