I have been looking around and asking around but it doesn't look like there are any upgrades for a Kawasaki Ninja 250... atleast an exhuast or something must be available for them right?

There are exhaust upgrades, intake pods, suspension upgrades, and more. Exhaust upgrade doesn't do much over stock unless you do the intake upgrades, and that doesn't do much unless you rejet, and at that point you are talking real work.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

k&n makes a filter for it i believe. Muzzy makes an exhaust i think as well. DynoJet may make a jet kit. The ninja 500 rear monoshock/spring fits in it, duno about the front suspension though (according to dude at work with a EX250).

you can also check bing.com for parts made specifically for your bike model and year.

There is one well known upgrade: it's called a Ninja 600

Kidding aside, you can probably find exhaust and jet kits for the ninjette that will give you a little more power, but no matter what you do, it's still a 250.
