I like it, looks good on you, or vice versa
If you're happy with the bike that's all that matters, despite what anyone else has to say, lol *poke poke at ofblong* Haha, keep the shiney side up.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

omfg you lucky canuks. We only get our version of the EX250 (aka GPZ250 for Canada... Do you even HAVE the GPZ250 or is that Euro only? PS - GPZ250 is half the price). It looks bigger than our version, I'd so rock one if we had them here. And either it look bigger than the GPZ/EX250 or you're small

Very nice looking bike. Though I think I like the 2-tone scheme better.
One thing that annoys me about the EX250/500 is the large gap between the front fairing and the front fender. Every time I look at my EX500 that gap sticks out like a sore thumb, to me at least. Seems that on the Canadian version of at least the 250 it's been addressed. I know they're not the same bike but I wish they would make that look slightly better for the US version.
How many miles did you have on the '01 when you sold it?
Those wheels look exactly like my EX500 wheels. Those are 17", right? Doesn't the US Ninja 250 have 16" wheels?

The 2006 has 17" wheels. I like the black rims better then the silver ones.
The 2001 had about 8,400 km on it (about 6,000 miles if I did the math right) when I sold it....I know that is pretty low, but it also had fairing scratches, cracks and a missing chunk underneath plus bent rear brake peg from the previous owner's drops and I was going to have to take a good look at the tires this year. Also found some strange oil near the front wheel that I suspect was a minor fork oil leak that was going to eventually have to be addressed. It was running great when I handed it over.
