Nice bike, ahead of its time, but because it was ahead of its time, everyone was scared of them. (The stinkin sheep)

Anyway. Nice bike, light, excellent handling, liquid cooled v-twin - but because the sheep ran away from it, it was only available for a year or two. Parts are a PIA, and the downdraft carbies are different than most bikes and require some thought to work on.

Some say the carburation was off, but I never had a problem with my '82.

Oh yeah, the freaking gas tank was a really stupid design - the lowest part of it was lower than the petcock, so water could collect in the low spot and rust it out there. First thing to do (If it hasn't been done already) is give it a POR-15 treatment.

They are hard to find parts for, since they were only made for a year or two, but they are good bikes. I watched a basically stock Vision finish second at the 24 hours of Nelsons Ledges one year. They weren't even close tro being the fastest, but the combination of reliability and good gas mileage served them well.
