which shoei should I buy?

#1 Unread post by desper »

Hey, I am going to pick up a full face and I went to the dealer and tried a bunch on... the Shoei's fit me the best, and I have it down to two helmets. So can someone give me a hand deciding here?

A)RF-1000

B)TZ-R

I will be getting solid black so color and price are not issues.

thanks all!

Both are excellent helmets. Technically, the RF-100 is the higher end model, meaning it may have more advanced aerodynamics and better venting. But the TZR is an excellent helmet. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

You should buy whichever is the most comfortable, you're going to be spending a lot of time in there, so make sure it's one you can live with.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
