I didn't mean to offend. But I did want to point out that it is severely overdiagnosed. Any highly active child is at risk of being labelled in such a way that passes blame from the system to the child suffering from a medical condition.
Parents fault? You bet! Not all the time...but its also the fault of the school system, for not recognizing how our children learn and adapting to them. Instead, they try to force children to adapt to how they want to teach and administer their school system. Suddenly if a child doesn't or won't fit to their little formula, he or she must have something wrong with them.
Just branching off one part of the discussion that caught my interest.
