I'm picking the bike up sunday and registering it on wednsday. I will try to have pictures by the end of next week:) The only thing he did too the bike was put different blinkers on it. He said that the stock blinkers on them stick out far (4 inches), So he replaced them with some stubbier ones. Good Nuff'.

wow, you're right, that looks like a mini nighthawk 750!

Saw a naked Ninja 500 outside the movie theater on Sunday. I had to do a double take because it looked like a small watercooled Nighthawk. The owner did a cool conversion by taking the pointy-cornered headlight out of the fairing and building a bucket for it. Much cooler than a plain round light.

When you see an EX500 or EX250 naked, it becomes very clear that these are standard bikes with plastic, rather than sportbikes.

Just wanted to correct my previous post....

I said the headlight etc were bound to the fairings... well, I just took the fairings off mine for the first time and it ain't so. Only things attached to the fairings are the turn signal pods.

i think i'll keep my fairings on. its not bad looking but i'd do a buel headlight conversion with the "infinity" lights (they look like an infinity sign [sideways 8] to me)

Yep, fairings are going back on this afternoon (after I finish mounting my custom windshield)... though it doesn't look bad with just the upper fairings either.
