Not true. If you live in Georgia, and the bike is older than an '86, you don't need a title.

Check your DMV website.

Oh good - I'm glad you got the straight info from your DMV. Next time I'd check with them first, because some folks will try to scam you. Glad it wasn't the case this time!!

Yeah, you have to watch out for that, if the stole the bike or something, they could just be telling you you don't need a title, just to explain why they don't have one, to get your money.

wow talk about able to steel and then resell and no one will ever know. thats just stupid to not title something that you can legally drive on any road.

what I mean is it is stupid of the state not to require it. if you dont want to title it then by all means go on ahead but it doesnt make sense.

What happens if someone out-of-state wants to buy a bike that has no title, but the buyer's state requires it? I suppose then you would file for new title? Seems complicated even though legal. Still, glad you got your info straight. Enjoy the new ride!!
