Just got back from the local Harley demo ride. Rode the 883, also the 1200 Sportster Custom..nice bike for power at the low end. Also rode the Heritage Classic, Fat Boy (ok), the Night Rod and the Street Rod.

Just love that Street Rod. Only complaints were buzzy mirrors, an unnecessarily heavy pull on the clutch lever and a near useless instrument cluster positioned too low for this bike's performance level. Everything else was great, love the exhaust note and smooth shifting gear box, brakes felt good too.

This would make a serious addition to my garage, I just wish!!
There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.

Sounds like someone is in a shopping mood!! I have to say, of all the Harleys, I like the Street Rod, and more specifically the Night Rod, the best. If you are indeed shopping, then good luck with your decision making.

Cheers,
Loonette

Though I typically dislike H-Ds for my own reasons, I wouldn't pass up a chance to buy

A) Night Rod. Completely BAD "O Ring".

B) The(not street legal) V-Rod made for dragstrip use only.

The Revo Harleys are the only ones I'd buy.

I'd love to get my hands on a Night Rod.

your talking about the V-Rod Destroyer.

that bike is really nothing special unless you want to race in the AHDRA spec class for it.

A Busa with relatively mild mods will destroy a destroyer on the dragstrip. A stock Busa can turn high 9s, can go deep into the 9s with mild mods.

the destroyer was developed for a spec class in the AHDRA, they will only run against other destroyers. I doubt many destroyer owners would want the embarassment of getting killed by street ridden bikes

I know, I know. It's a WAY overpriced(IE any H-D) 9-second bike, and there are several bikes('busa, ZX-14) which could beat it at the strip, at 1/3 or so the price.

But I still think it's cool.
