lol... buells... I think Gender Identity Disorder better suites the Buell's crisis... of course you'd have to decide which of sport bikes or harelys were male or female... that could get messy

i've found that the Mercedes first aid kit is really useful, a good snag if you can get it, and nitrile are way more useful, because they can be used in situations lwhere chemical resistance is needed (epecially petroleum products)

Thought some of you might be interested in what sort of first aid kit can be tucked under the seat of a Ninja 250....

1 pair sterile vinyl gloves
1 pair nitril gloves
1 roll 2" sterile rolled gauze
1 roll 1" non-sterile rolled gauze
1 9x5" trauma pad
1 40"x40"x56" traingular bandage/sling w/ safety pins
4 large non-stick bandage pads
bunch of band-aids ranging from medium to huge
burn cream
antibiotic wound cream, antibiotic wound gell
antibiotic wound cleaning wipes
alcohol prep pads
aspririn, exedrin, ibuprophin,loratadine (no thorazine

)
2 high-strength zip-lock bags

I'm still looking for a decent multi-tool w/ scissors and the like....but there is room for it.

The gauze is the modern rubber stuff that sticks to itself and stays flexible. I could fit a roll or two of tape as well if I wanted.

Naw, I'm more likely to use the tool kit than the first aid stuff.... but there is a space to the rear (in front of the tail light) that is plenty big enough for this stuff.

The container is a heavy duty 7x9" zip-lock.... at least until I can find a more "first aid" type waterproof container. And no, that zip-lock wasn't counted in my inventory.

The trick is to use modern packaged first aid supplies. For example... the traingular bandage was vacuum packed from the factory so it takes up about 1.5"x2"x.5" the burn creams and the like are all in "catchup packet" style individual-use containers (I have four of each type). Only thing that sucks is that there are 20 little packets to sort through if you want to find an antibiotic ointment.

not a big deal if your not in a rush. If you using antibiotic ointment I dont think anything to serious is going on.

I just carry along my fiance whereever i go - She has the organisational skills of a goddess, and always seems to have whatever we need! (quite how she fits it all into a small handbag is way beyond my meagre male brain to work out!)

Not so much med kit, but a spare battery for your cellphone, always charged and kept under the seat might come in usefull..

I carry a bottle of filtered water, a homoeopathic first aid kit, antiseptic essential oils, a large tube of arnica cream, ditto calendua cream, a clean bandage, a small pair of scissors, some clean (non chemicalised) wipes, some plasters (band aid), 'moleskin' (for blisters), some small splints, a roll of toilet paper (of course - doesn't everyone?) some digestive enzymes (I'm prone to allergy attacks), some calcium/magnesium tables for cramps, and my fingers (for acupressure/shiatsu).

Oh, and several cloves of garlic in case I encounter vampires.
