Inspired by my latest purchase, what features/benefits do you look for in a lid?
Previously, i just wanted to know that it met safety requirements, and I could afford it. Now, having had lids with such features as flip-front, removeable linings and drop-down sun visors I can really see the advantage of paying that extra cash for these things. What's your opinions?
(please don't let this turn into a war on whether or not you should wear a helmet at all....!)

Don't give up.
Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.
If you never give up, you can never truly fail.

I'm still at a point where it is meeting regulations, still comfy after 10 or 15 minutes on my dome, and priced where I can afford it. Under $150 US.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?
