Which bikes suck?

#1 Unread post by zenman »

I haven't been reading about motorcycles that long, but I haven't really read anything about a particular model or make that sucks. Most people say "I don't like this-or-that feature," but that's about it. So which makes or models arent' worth it?

To tell the truth, I can't think of any bikes that just plain suck. Pretty much any bike has alot people who like it.

The Katana is the only new bike I can think of that alot of people don't like.

Its like asking, "So, which running shoes, suck?"

It all depends on what's important to YOU. Different strokes for different folks.

I love my boxer engine, BMW, other folks think the flat twin looks ludicrous...

I wouldn't own a chain drive bike, except a dual sport, other folks wouldn't own anything BUT...

Get the idea?

Are you talking about the Tomahawk? That's a Chrysler, and it's a V10 viper engine. And it's not techincally a motorcycle because it has four tires. :D

There is a rider for every bike... as hard as that is to believe sometimes as you wander through a dealership.
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

It seems that most modern bikes are just fine. I've never heard of any one brand or model that as a whole is prone to enough problems that it makes the whole line "suck".

So if you're shopping around, it's pretty safe to say that any make/model will suffice as long as it meets your particular set of criteria.

Cheers,
Loonette
