ok so seeing how during my MSF course my bike never had mirrors I never asked what they should display. I mean when you set your mirrors do you try and have them look behind you or just to the sides... how far back etc.
I'm so used to driving in a car and being able to see behind me. For now I'm just doing the hea check thing and my mirrors are set sorta alright I suppose.
Second question is.. yeah completly forgot that one.
A couple Questions.

I adjust mine so I see just a slight bit of each arm in the mirror. That should cover you pretty good.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?
On cars I set the side mirrors wide to show the areas that are hard to see with a head check. On the bike I set them closer in so you can see what's behind you and use head checks to see next to you.
So...mine are set to show a bit of wrist....but they are fairing mounted so it'll probably be different for you.

Ride it like you think owning it matters.

My are set just so I can see a little bit of my upper arm in each mirror. So I see a little bit of the lane behind me, and all of the lane behind me and to the side.
