Questions about Cobra's 2 into 1 exhaust system

#1 Unread post by puddlepirate11 »

I recently bought my 5th bike, the 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic LT Red/Black. I really love this bike. It compares quite well to my old 99 Vulcan Nomad. The drive belt is some much smoother than shaft drive and quite. But here is lies a problem. The stock exhaust is so quiet and the bike so smooth, I find myself having to look down or squeeze the engine with my legs to ensure it's still running, thus I need louder pipes.

I want to get a 2 into 1 powerpro system. Cobra make the one I'm interested in, but my question is will it make it louder than the stock exhaust?

Second, what is the difference in Cobra's 2 into 1 powerpro and the 2 into 1 powerpro HP?

thanks,

MEK

I'm running a PowerPro on my Vulcan 1600 and it's much louder than stock even with the baffle in.

+1 for going with the 2 into 1. Its good to see people doing something different with their bike, most people just seem to run the same ol staggered dual pipes.

other nice part is that 2 into 1 will make more power than dual pipes if combined with a remap of your ECU.
