Wow. This race series looks to be pulling itself out of the dumps and has potential to become what it once was. Alot of the old guys were in fine form this weekend in Valencia, and Troy Corser absolutely dominated the field on his GSX-R1000. The real racing however was farther down the field in both races and there were some awesome scraps for second and fifth, or sixth. Having multiple brands scrapping for posiiton is what this series has needed for a long time, and all four of the big Japaneese makers were in contention for a podium. Ben Bostrom seemed to have an awesome race-2 as he started from 16th place and wokred his way up to 6th place! Too bad there wasn't more coverage of this on TV, and he ended up beating the second-place-in-the-championship Kagayama. Not too bad for getting a last minute call to re-join the series....
All I can say is I WILL be watching the next round in Monza. WSB is back!
