Float level setting.
Ok, now that I know how to set the float level, can someone tell me how high to set it on my '78 CB400T. I couldn't find a manual locally and I haven't had a chance to check ebay. Thanks

Wrong carb kit!
I'm sorry I didn't post this back earlier.
The carb kits I ordered off of that eBay store did come in very quick but I waited almost a week to look at them and come to find out they where the wrong ones.
so now I'm on the search again for the right carb kits.
The eBay provider did issue me a full refund with the shipping. (their reference book said it was the right part # for that bike, and they have had this problem with other aplications)
If any one knows of a carb kit provider for the CB400T let me know.
Honda makes you purchase every part individually and the cost is over $100.00 a carb.
Thanks Mike

Did I miss something here or did you guys hi-jack this thread?
I believe the original post was regarding setting float levels.
Regarding that, I suggest you do a search for forums (google should work) based on older honda twins. LIkely you will find someone on one of those forums that can answer your question.

My Bad!
That eBay link (4545084329) is the right set. Ordered it so we'll see if it comes in right this time. "a whole different eBay store"
As for the original question that I'm sorry for blowing out of the water.
Clymer says 0.85 inches. sounds a little low but it's a good starting point.
Good luck!!!
and post back!
Mike
