Hello from California!

#1 Unread post by motogirl »

Hello! I'm new to the moto world, and I've found this forum to be a friendly source of information - thanks!

I live on the Central Coast of California, near San Luis Obispo. Any other forum members nearby?

I took the MSF course, having never ever been on a motorcycle before. I now have a 1995 Yamaha Virago 750 which I love, love, love! It's not as sexy as the new Kawasaki Vulcan my husband just bought, but I get a lot of credit just for being a gal on a bike...

Thanks for all of the great information. I'd love to hear from any and all of you...

Janet

Welcome to the TMW Forums . I use to live in Glamorous Grover City
And prior to that in Ventura .
I also sold a Virago 1000 last year to my brother in law . It's still running strong .
Best regards, Wizzard

Welcome motogirl...I'm taking the MSF class next weekend (Memorial Day weekend)...I'm so excited and can't wait. I live in Orange County, California. Still debating between two bikes, but will know which one after the class as they have the Ninja 250R to ride on.

Good luck, and ride safe.

Welcome to the forums...

I'm currently riding a '95 1100 Virago, 129,000 kilometers (80,157 miles) on it and it's almost boken in...

You're right, it's not the sexiest bike on the road, but it's mine...
