We're the first ones to starve
We're the first ones to die
The first ones in line for that pie in the sky
But we're always the last
When the gravy's shared out
For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

I saw so many things I agreed with I had to chime in too.

Pink Floyd - ALL
(I found it funny that Gadget had Final Cut and Momentary Lapse - a Roger Waters like album and a David Gilmore album)
Radiohead - Every album I've heard so far, which I think if most of them.
Coldplay -Xy
Dead Kennedys - Everything by them.
SteelyDan - Pretzel Logic (but everything by them is great)
Beck - Odelay (but the new album is very good)
Beasty Boys - I've not heard a thing I didn't like by them yet
Devo - Every album is great.
The Who - Quadraphenia
Rush - Pemanent Waves
XTC - Black Sea and Big Express
Yes - Fragile
Zappa - Everything in the early 80s and before.
Portishead - self titled
Talkingheads

And more I'm sure.

Always been a big fan of both David Gilmour and Roger Waters. I know a few people that like Pink Floyd, but can't stand Roger Waters' solo works (The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking, Radio K.A.O.S., Amused to Death), but I really like the way that Roger can string together an album to tell a story (usually political and anti-war). David Gilmour is just such a phenomenal guitar player and songwriter that everything he does is superb.

U2 - ACHTUNG BABY!

I like Floyd a lot as well. Who else here has done the "The Wizard of Floyd" thing with the Dark Side LP and the Wizard of Oz? I love that thing. I actually ripped a DVD of it together on my PC a few years back, so I wouldn't have to go nuts trying to hit play at the right time. I lined it up (to my satisfaction) when all the bells & clocks start in "Time," and when you see the neighbor lady on her bike. That seemed to make a lot of stuff seem to line up.
