Tires with yellow lettering

#1 Post by ddonia » Sun May 21, 2006 12:07 pm

My Buddy and I are trying to find bike tires that we saw at the races in Daytona this year. We are not sure of the make but we really liked the looks of the yellow lettering on the sidewalls.

I have searched everywhere and cannot find them. Does anyone out there know of any tire companies that produce bike tires with the yellow lettering? We have found white but have not been able to find the yellow....yet....

Thanks!

I'd imagine a yellow Sharpie would do the trick.

Might not look all that great but it's worth a shot. Would cost like 3 bucks max.
Have fun on the open /¦\

Those tires you saw at Daytona were race tires, avalible to sponsored riders only. Even the privateers at Daytona who bought the same tires to race on don't get the fancy colored lettering.

You can buy tire markers to color them yourself, but I've never seen anyone pull it off without it looking pretty ghetto. Except when done by the factory tire techs.....
No Witnesses.... :shifty:
