Oh, definitely. You're not alone.

I had a rear tire replaced on my bike and, even when it's warmed up, I was thinking it was slipping through corners under acceleration.

I finally shook the feeling off yesterday on a nice twisty ride.

Just be patient and it will come back to you.

ShawnKing, your new tire was very likely slipping around turns and at acceleration. When I bought a brand new set of tires for my bike, the tire tech told me to take it easy for a few miles cause, it was very likely that the tires will slip and that I would hit the road.

when I bought my bike I read the owners manual. Says new tires need to be broken in just like the bike. Except the tires only needed 100 miles.
Like Bob the MSF guy said "Smile your on a bike" :)

Definitely. But the tire had been well scrubbed in - over 150 miles on it before the slipping. :(
