Ok i rebuilt my carbs, double checked my air intake, replaced the plugs and my bike bogs down at about 4500 RPMS, and 500 less for each gear past 1st. I dont know what else to try looking into exept my valves, could that be causing my problem? any ideas?
I had to rebuild the carbs because they were all gummed up and , my bike would start with the choke on for a few secs then as soon as you gave it gas it died, I took them apart and found jets clogged, float springs stuck, and gunk in them. So i cleaned them out and rebuilt them. After just cleaning them once before iit would bog down at first then race up in RPMS. Now the first 4000 RPMs are fine then it bogs down. If i back off the gas it just comes back down, if i hold the throttle open it bogs more and pops. I could ride it to the closest shop, but the bike will let me do like 35mph right now with the RPM issue.
needle carb, or throttle plate carb? sounds to me that hes getting too much gas and flooding the engine, gasket leaking in the idle jet, or the jets are not sealed right? chewed up needle? backfires thru the air intake too much gas.

Gas tank was cleaned out by a shop. The carbs have needles, which were replaced, its no longer popping as much but it does still bog down. i checked my valves and they are ok. Its suposed to be in the 80's this weekend and i want to ride in it. Any ideas?
If it is not a carb problem, try running Amsoil fuel conditoner or something like it... Rediline, Yamaha Ring free. It might be deposits on your intake valves that are causing the stumble.
Does it work itself out of the stumble? If not, it is probably carb issues. Take it back to the shop and see what they say.
