A torquey cruiser might also be the shadow sabre or shadow spirit from some online reviews I've seen. I'm considering the spirit sometime in the future.

Sabre really isn't up to par and the 1100 spirit is as torque as mine, just more high end....

Moto Guzzi Breva 1100!!!

Cause I want one.

Also, you could try my current bike.... Triumph Bonneville T100. Tons of mods you can do. I currently have mine set up more like a tourer with the added fairing and saddlebags. Or you can go streetfigher/cafe racer with it. It can be almost anything you want.

Suzuki S83.... 1340cc, small, light, good low end torque, but geared high, good price, local dealer has 3 brand new 05 leftovers for $6599, 06 is $7499, horsey power is 72.4, 1/4 mile is 12.58@107mph and the top gear roll off is not that good at 5.08, going to have to gear down, thats better than a Mean Streak.

If you like the smooth engine of the hawk but want a fast, good handling cruiser I would look into a Honda Valkyrie

Sit on a vmax and you realize one thing immediately... it ain't a cruiser. If anything, it's a standard on roids. Yes, it's very strong, but it't not exactly agile.

You want a powerful, comfy cruiser? Find yourself a late 90's or early 2000's Honda Magna.

Thanks for all the replies.....I dont think im too much of a fan of the vmax although I will take a look at it this weekend... I think MeanStreak/Warrior/VTX1300 are the the choices i will look at and test ride...

This man speaks the truth. The Magna is a V4 so it spins and breaths much better than most V-twins of double the size.

i thought Suzuki sucks?
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
