in the ghettos of nothern ontario?
I don't live anywhere near Ontario... I live near Edmonton, in Alberta....

Actually there were 4 stabbings last week when the oilers won a game. And one guy got his head kicked in... I'd like to have a weapon on hand sometimes.
oops, i accidentally read nothern pete's location instead of yours

anyway, are you allowed to have a "permit to carry" (handgun in Kanada?
No idea, I know all weapons need to be registered. I dunno, I never really wanted a gun.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Thanks to all your suggestions I've finally made a decision. I know I was ragging on the license plate holders, but :dunno: I decided to go with it. I started thinking about the crap I have in my saddle bag always (2 bottles of water, 2 books, face-shield, and disc-lock), and I figured no need to add another large lock.

I found this, and it'll be here in about a week!

Thanks for all your help.[/u]
