I have this helmet and actually purchased it after reading that article. It sits very comfortably on my head. I can wear it all day. You can hear the engine and wind but some ppl like this. As far as weight, not really much heavier than the rest.kabob983 wrote:
The Z1R-Strike (ZRP) was their "top" helmet. And yes, it is cheap and does protect very well. But I've heard that the helmet is rediculously uncomfortable, noisy, and heavy. So it's a trade off...
I think it is insane to pay 600 bucks for a helmet unless you get it custom painted with some original art. Those cookie cutter 600 helmets do not save more lives.
And since I bought mine for $70 I would not hesitate to replace it in 3-5 years
