I have this helmet and actually purchased it after reading that article. It sits very comfortably on my head. I can wear it all day. You can hear the engine and wind but some ppl like this. As far as weight, not really much heavier than the rest.

I think it is insane to pay 600 bucks for a helmet unless you get it custom painted with some original art. Those cookie cutter 600 helmets do not save more lives.

And since I bought mine for $70 I would not hesitate to replace it in 3-5 years

(BTW My Bike Leather is 6 years old next month and has never been cared for!)
