My ex250 idles like a champ when its cold and when its warm. It dies and I can barely start the bike when its about half way warm.
Also at about 3/4 choke the idle rises to 5000rpm. How do i fix the idle problems. Thanks.

Is this when you are sitting in the driveway before you go for a ride?
If so, you may have to raise and lower the choke during the warm up to ensure it does not rev its guts out or stall. If it revs too high bring the choke in a bit or if it is about to stall use more choke or even a bit of throttle to get it through its warm up process.

yes this is in the drive way before I ride. Is this type of idle behavior normal for a ex250. Yea I usually back off the choke when it rises too much. It has a really narrow window it seems to have a extremely high idle (5000rpm) or is dead when its half way warm. Maybe I need to do a valve adjustment. I took off the carbs already and they were nice and clean.
