Where to find seat padding?

#1 Unread post by Pez D Spencer »

Anyone know where you can find good quality seat padding online? I just got my first bike last week, a Suzuki GZ250, and after about 30 minutes your "O Ring" feels completely numb.

I'd like to find some about 3 inches thick so I can contour it down the way I want it. I saw a dude on TV using an electric carving knife to contour the padding and it worked awesome.

Thanks for any info on this.

I've used just plain old 5/8" carpet padding. It's fairly easy to work with and is cheap. I used 2 layers on my seat and it's actually pretty nice on the tushy. :D
