1986-1987 Yamaha FZX 700, are they good?

I'm looking into buying a Yamaha FZX 700 but want to know if they are fast but confortable. Anybody know where I can find some engine parts to make it faster?

there basicly a little bit of a cruiser styled FZ750, yep there fast, im not sure what that model handles like, and a little unrefind and animal like. as for tuning them, a lighter 4-1 pipe, and jet kit would give it alittle more edge.
