Thankfully, no! The closest is 1 1/2 hours away, up by New York City. I think we're safe from the siren song of Ural for the moment!

Y'know, I've been thinkin'... what with all the anti-Harley sentiments that pop up everywhere on this site, maybe there should be a separate section for them? It could be titled "I Hate Harleys" and be broken down into many sub-forums such as:

- My japanese Bike Is Twice As Good As A Harley
- Harley Riders Don't Wave
- Why Are Harleys So Loud, Anyway?
- Didja Know Harleys Have A Lot Of japanese Parts On Them?
- I Went To A Harley Dealer And The Salesguy Ignored Me

- I Outran A Harley With My Moped
- Harley's Are Inferior Bikes Because...
- I Bought A Harley Clone And Saved A Lot Of Money
- Harley Jokes (now THAT would be a big forum!)
and, of course...

Hey, ever wonder why there's not very many Harley owners on TMW? I mean, really, as a Harley owner it is frustrating to keep reading the same old cliches over and over again. I've been on this forum for over a year now and the same old crap keeps coming back again and again, only the names of the posters change. And God help me when I or another Harley owner speaks up against it, because that's being too "sensitive" and we should really learn to just sit back and take it instead of getting bent out of shape, right? Funny, though, how all it takes is one disparaging comment about any japanese bike by any other japanese bike rider to bring out cries for the lynch mob by the owner of said dissed bike, eh?

So why not make a spot for all the Harley-bashers to congregate and regurgitate whatever they want about the brand? That way the rest of the forum would be left open to postings about all motorcycles and related topics as it should be. One could then peruse all the threads and messages without having to pick through all the stale fluff from the anti-Harley brigade. But, hey, what do I know. I would never bash your bike. Mine gets bashed all the time, and I don't like it. So, given that, I wouldn't bash yours.

I just don't understand the "mystique" that is HD.

If harley Davidson had a dealership up my way, Id have a look at their bikes as well. My neighbours have his and hers harleys, and the sound is unlike any other bike Ive heard.

Good for you Gummiente in defending your bike! the world would be a boring place if there was no bashing though, you have to admit.

I tracked the package. Those Canada Post bums just attempted delivery today, the 12th. They were supposed to deliver it last Thursday, the 8th.

I am going to make them give me a refund for the postage since I paid for a guaranteed delivery and they didn't deliver.
