Not when it's customized like that. You don't drop the kind of cash this guy did because you dumped your bike. With the amount he's likely spent (money and labour) he could have literally bought a brand new stock bike.
The 599 (Hornet) has a HUGE following over in Europe, with more possible mods and manufacturers then I could shake a stick at. The reason I was able to name most of those mods is because they are typically done, and then the left over parts sold off to the people who do crash over at www.hondahornets.co.uk Single sided swing arms are what everyone aspires too, but the conversion is a TON of work apparently.
That being said, the back end still makes me drool, does anyone have any idea what that is?

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

hahaha! i guess... im planning to do some custom paint when i get my new fairings after i become more skilled at cornering.ZooTech wrote:Those are the types of mods you drop coin on after you dump the bike pretty hard. Whenever you see an ad for a crotch rocket with a "custom paint job" or bodywork, that's code for "this bike was dumped".
but i don't wanna generalize... some people even mod their bikes before they leave the showroom floor.

I don't know whether to hate you or love you. But methinks I'm going to be spending a little time at the bike wreckers.High_Side wrote:CBR600RR. *Edit* so uhhhhh, BuzZz if I were to pick up one of those tails would you have any interest in helping me fit it? Wink wink, nudge nudge? Beer and food would be provided of course.

Any welders care to step forward? hehehe
Or anyone care to let me borrow welding equipment? It's been a while since I've done it, but I'm pretty sure I can pick it up quick.

I used to do some pretty ugly welding on the farm. Effective, but not pretty....
