NO SPEED LIMIT! & there are not enough Cops to go around out here....Which is GOOD.

We don't have a Speed Limit at all out of town!

Funny you mention it, Sunday 7:00 AM bright and early and I am on the highway on my way to a BMW meet. It is overcast and as always the highways are full. next thing I see the Cop, bright orange metro car with the roof flashers, he turns them on and pulls me over. Remeber I ride with no number plate so this is the first thing he mentions. "Damn" I tell him, " this is the second time that has fallen off. Ok now he checks for my road license which is then kept under the seat and then he asks where I am going. Now luckily I have on my bright orange vest because I am going to be marshal for the ride today, so I tell him all of this and he smiles kindly because he knows the BMW guy's are sensible and law abiding. Then the question comes out, "Why were you flashing your light, I saw it from miles away" The penny now drops, nobody uses modulaters here and the do not know what they are. So I educate him as to how BMW have this safety feature built into the lighting system of the bikes. If it gets overcast then the lights flash so we get noticed. He then starts getting all interested and asking if it's automatic and so on and telling me how the BMW's that his dept has have auto grip warmers and Beemers are like really good bikes. I glanced at my watch knowing i am going to be late and he catches this and said. "Get going or you will be late" No invitation needed, that was me off like a shot and the cop waving all friendly as I go.

Yeah I've been pulled over a few times on the bike. I think they cut us a little bit more slack...but don't think your above the law...because they will still f you over when you least expect it.

Don't you mean you will f yourself over for being caught? Don't blame the cop... he's doing his job. If you hadn't been doing something illegal, then you wouldn't be getting pulled over.

Yeah Mash....Alice to Ayers Rock in 1 hour instead of the usual 5!

If I had the dosh, I'd have one of nearly every bike to play with!

P.S. I love your Avatar, I have seen that show & the cartoon at the (Beginning?) End is fantastic!

I never have been pulled over on a bike....mostly just lucky, but in my truck...they've got me plenty of times. I'm glad that need for speed is waning a bit as I get a little older.
